I'm Verity, I've been working for (GBFF etc) since May 2016 as the Event Manager. I am the most northern member of the team, from just outside Blackburn in Lancashire. I live with my husband and two daughters, a ginger tom cat called Sven, and Floki the German Shepherd, and I spend the majority of my spare time outdoors; walking and gardening, or if it's too warm for either of those, sunbathing with a gin and tonic.
At work you will generally find me running from one end of the event field to another, in shorts and a high viz, marking out the layout beforehand, checking everything is going smoothly during and pushing vans out of the mud afterwards!
My favourite time of any event is usually just after the first day has opened to the public, everything is in place and up and running and there is time to a cast an eye around the site to see lots of people having a lovely time. That being said, there is also something quite heavenly about the moment you can sit down and take your shoes off at the end of a long day!
