Along with the rest of the country (and indeed far beyond), the whole team at the Great British Food Festival are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
As a mark of respect to Her Majesty and bearing in mind the logistical complications and safety concerns which now present for the police and the Local Authority, for events in Edinburgh (due to Her Majesty the Queen's coffin being lied to rest there over the weekend), we have made a joint decision with our venue partners, that it would not be appropriate to proceed with our Great British Food Festival at Dalkeith Country Park this weekend.
We hope that all of our pre-paid visitors will understand this decision and all will receive an email within the next 24 hours explaining the next steps in terms of all pre-bought tickets.
