Matthew Wolfenden

Matthew Wolfenden is best known for his long-running television role as David Metcalfe in ITV’s Emmerdale, as winner of the seventh series of Dancing on Ice, and as a guest presenter on This Morning, Loose Women, Lorraine, Loose Men, and for starring in The Real Full Monty. As a screenwriter, he has penned episodes (alongside his writing partner Roxy Shahidi) for Holby City, Doctors and Casualty. He and Roxy also present the Matt and Roxy’s Celebrity Side Hustles podcast. Matthew most recently played Buddy in Elf The Musical, in a sold out 8 week run at the Dominion Theatre, in London’s West End, and appeared in season 2 of ‘The Good Ship Murder’ for Chanel 5.
