Harrogate based Owen Diaram appeared on BBC Masterchef , finishing as a Quarter Finalist. He now works as a private Chef in the North Yorkshire area.
Described as a 'Flavour Master' by Chef John Torode, Owen uses the freshest ingredients and combines exciting local produce with spices and herbs from his South African and Indian heritage. He has a range of menus for every budget and delivers a 5 start experience for Private Diners around North Yorkshire.
Owen was named as 'The Crowd Pleaser' on the programme after creating amazing dishes during his Masterchef appearance! in the words of John Torode - 'Everything he cooks makes the crowd happy'.
Owen launched his 'Cook with Owen' authentic spice range in December 2023, winning a Great Taste Award for his Onion Bhaji mix in 2024! He was also a finalist in the Deliciously Yorkshire Awards 2025.
