ABOUT

Adam Kingl is an author, speaker and academic who explores the confluence of nutrition, wellness and performing more effectively in our professional and personal lives. He is an adjunct faculty member at University College London, Hult International Business School, and directs the programme Leading Systemic Innovation in Healthcare at Imperial College London. Adam’s latest book, ‘Executive Eats; the cookbook for a better working life’, was published by Practical Inspiration Publishing in June 2026 and has hit the Top 5 Bestsellers on Amazon for Nutrition.
His second book, ‘Sparking Success’, published in 2023 by Kogan Page, is about what we can learn from the arts, including culinary arts, in enhancing our innovation, creativity, adaptability and inspiration. ‘Sparking Success’ was shortlisted for the 2024 Book of the Year Awards in the Smart Thinking category, has been translated into Spanish and Portuguese and will be translated into Arabic in 2027. Adam has spoken at public conferences including the World Expo-Business International on the Future of Food in Milan, the FT-Coca Cola Enterprises Future of Sustainability Summit, TUCO Conference for university catering, and many others. Corporate clients in the food and drink world include Coca-Cola Hellenic, Suntory, Nestlé, Carlsberg and Tesco,.  
He has contributed to and been interviewed by publications including The Financial Times, Sunday Times, Forbes, Fortune, The Guardian, City AM, Dubai Eye (radio), Gulf News, The National (UAE), South China Morning Post, Hong Kong Economic Times, Tokyo MX (television) and Edge - the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Adam learned to cook at Le Cordon Bleu in California and worked in the kitchen of a trattoria to put himself through graduate school. Adam holds degrees from London Business School, UCLA and Yale University. He lives in Surrey.
