About Us

The Great British Food Festival is a celebration of culinary delights, attracting food lovers from all over the UK. With a variety of tasty food offering, activities, and an extensive entertainment programme , our festival is a must-visit for anyone passionate about great food and a great atmosphere.

Role Overview:

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, problem solving and responsible stewards to join our ever-growing team for our upcoming summer food festivals. As a member of our onsite team, you will be the face of the festival, working in a fast paced environment, ensuring all of our guests have an enjoyable experience.

We are looking for a variety of roles that require different skill sets. If you are to join part of the team you should hold our core values as your first focus when working with us.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assisting visitors and having a warm and welcoming attitude
  • Providing as much helpful information to the guests
  • Assisting other team members within different areas should the event need this
  • Monitoring crowd movements
Pay £11.44ph for 21 and over - lunch provided Pay £12.60ph for 21 and over - lunch provided

Roles being advertised:

Barista

Brew magic in our beloved coffee unit.
Essential - worked as a barista in previous role and provide proof of this.
A very fast paced environment, striving to produce quality drinks and handling pressures of large queues to be as quick as possible.

Bar

Work in our bustling bar!
Essential - worked as a bartender/ in a pub in previous role and provide proof of this.
A very fast paced environment, striving to produce quality drinks and handling pressures of large queues to be as quick as possible.

General Checkin/Greeter

Welcome guests with a smile!
Essential - worked at a ticket booth or similar in a previous role.
Comfortable taking on the day payments, good knowledge of payment systems, in a fast paced environment. Good understanding of tech , able to cope potentially when the wifi might go down!

Maintenance Steward

Get stuck in! Tackling any task with a can-do attitude!
Essential - worked at events before.
Will include, Litter picking, emptying bins, fixing areas on site, jumping on at other roles. Applicant must be very hands on and willing to do anything thrown at them

Kids Cook

Engage and delight young chefs
Essential - worked with children before.
This will involve teaching classes 5 times a day to around 18 children each session. You will be given x2 very kid friendly recipes (you don’t need to be a chef!) that alternate during the day , children will pre book onto the sessions. You will be expected to teach each class and demonstrate to the children within the 45 min cookery class! You must be able to talk to a group of children and parents, be vocal and very confident, working in a fast paced area, very customer service focussed too!
