Martha Collison is the youngest ever baker on The Great British Bake Off (2014), she made it all the way to the quarter finals while also studying for her AS Levels.
Martha is a self-taught baker who started cooking at the age of eight – the result of her brave parents letting her loose in the kitchen and enjoying the (sometimes mixed) results! She has finished up her A-levels now, giving her plenty of time to dedicate to writing and testing recipes for various purposes, including a weekly column in Waitrose Weekend paper and for her own food blog.
Martha has a fun and relaxed approach to baking. She loves interesting and unusual flavour combinations and takes huge pleasure in both creating and eating delicious food. Her first book, TWIST, was published by HarperCollins in 2016. Her latest book, CRAVE, was published in July 2017, also by HarperCollins.
She loves spending time with her family, and is passionate about helping with charitable campaigns including #NoChildTaken with Tearfund.
