Gilly Robinson


Gilly is Head Tutor at Malton Cookery School where she’s not just a very good cook, she’s a very good teacher with her zest for life, sense of humour and eternal patience to encourage even the most hesitant of students. She has huge experience of running cooking courses and for several years was senior tutor at the Rosemary Shrager Cooking School at Swinton and still works with Rosemary on specific projects.

Gilly has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, managing demonstration theatres at all the major shows and continues to run children’s courses at Fodder for the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. She firmly believes everyone can learn not just to cook but to love cooking and ‘kids in the kitchen’ is one of her passions.
