Bio

Bruce Cheyne is a South African-born chef with extensive experience in kitchens across South Africa, America & the UK. An ambitious and creative chef, he has trained with the likes of Tom Aikens, Lee Westcott and Alexander Claridge and has headed up the pastry department in Michelin and multi-rosette restaurants as well as working in developmental kitchens. He has just taken his first Head Chef role at Swinfen Hall where he intends to use the estate’s Victorian walled garden and orchards as inspiration to create ever-changing menus to suit the season.

The Four Seasons Restaurant at Swinfen Hall became the first restaurant in Staffordshire to win three AA rosettes in January 2015 and has been a regular winner in the Taste of Staffordshire Fine Dining Awards.
