Head Chef – Restaurant EightyEight
Ben is an experienced and much travelled chef who has spent time cooking on three different continents and in four different countries – namely Japan and in the UK. Ben joins the Grantley Hall team as Head Chef at their exciting pan-Asian restaurant, Restaurant EightyEight where his remit is to create innovative, visually inspiring, and of course delicious, dishes combining quality Yorkshire produce with an Easter influence.
His previous position as Head Chef at the Ox Club in Leeds was an excellent showcase for Ben’s skills; he was part of the opening team and the restaurant featured in The Good Food Guide, won best restaurant awards at the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards and was listed in the Michelin Guide every year from opening. Prior to that he held various senior chef positions whilst living and working in Tokyo.
