Whaheed Rojan


Whaheed is Director/Executive Chef of ‘The Round Table Dining’ which he runs with his wife Rebecca, specialising in private catering across the Harrogate district. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Whaheed has more than 25 years experience in hospitality, working for some of the best chefs in the world as well as cooking for Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Pierce Brosnan, just to mention a few.

As well as his extensive restaurant experience, his most recent position was in the high-pressure kitchens of the Queen Mary 2, Cunard’s flagship ocean liner, serving thousands of international passengers in numerous exotic locations. Whaheed has also travelled extensively himself, picking up flavours and techniques from around the world. He now brings that experience to private dining where he creates a bespoke menu to suit each client, drawing on ingredients and recipes from a huge range of exciting cuisines. Cooking in your kitchen so the food can be served fresh to the table, and clears away the kitchen while you eat, so all you have to do is enjoy the night alongside your guests. The Round Table Dining can even provide experienced waiter/waitress service for that special finishing touch.
