In 2000 Nick Deverell-Smith was named Junior Chef of the Year.
Head chef at The Churchill Arms
He went on to train with some of the biggest names in food including Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsay, Marcus Wareing and Eric Chavot and has been Head Chef at Soho House and Dean Street Townhouse.
In 2015 Nick opened his own restaurant, The Churchill Arms in the Cotswolds. He champions local produce and sources many ingredients from suppliers close to his restaurant.
This is Nick’s first time in the competition. His menu’s dishes are inspired by the precision of Wimbledon’s grass, traditional English teas and the greatest games in Wimbledon’s history.
